Transformative Forestry Mulching is three family members living in and working out of Douglas County, MO.
We started the business after wanting to make big improvements on our own property. We chose mulching over conventional clearing on purpose. On this ground — thin soil, limestone close to the surface, and hollows that funnel every rain — leaving bare dirt is how you lose a hillside.
Mulching lets us open up land and leave it better protected than we found it. It has allowed us to not only access more of our land but improve the organic makeup of our soil.
