It is usually better underneath than it looks

A place that has grown up looks hopeless from the road. More often than not, under that growth is decent ground — old pasture, a building site, a drive, sometimes fence that is still standing.

We will walk it with you and tell you what is actually there before you decide how much to do.

Phasing is usually the right answer

Clearing forty neglected acres at once is a big bill. Clearing the ten acres you will actually use this year, then coming back, generally gets you further for the same money.

We would rather tell you that than sell you the whole thing at once.

Small jobs welcome

Half an acre is a real job to us. If you have a lot in town that has gone wild, or one corner of a place that got away from you, it is worth the call.

What it looks like when we leave

Open ground with a layer of wood chip on it. No stumps sticking up, no piles, no ruts, nothing to burn. You can walk it, mow it, seed it, or build on it.
