Plots that hold seed

A plot scraped to bare dirt loses seed and topsoil to the first rain. A mulched plot has a chip layer that holds seed in place and keeps moisture in the ground while it germinates.

The chip does tie up some nitrogen as it breaks down, so plan your fertility accordingly, but the trade is worth it on sloped ground.

Lanes cut where you want them

We cut lanes to the width and the sight line you want. Walk it with us and mark your stands — a lane that looks right on a map is often wrong from the seat.

Less disturbance

One machine working a few days is a much smaller footprint on a property than a dozer, a burn, and a cleanup crew. Deer settle back in fast.
